Kawan Shop

Kawan Shop is a community development project that supports the work amongst the street-based community of Georgetown. Items sold include clothes, shoes, books, toys, household items and more.

Shop Goals

Raise funds through sales to support Kawan’s street projects
Provide employment/vocation training for Kawan service users
Provide good quality second hand clothes and household items
Offer goods at affordable & attractive prices
Build a greater awareness of the homeless situation in Penang
Be a blessing to the local community of Penang
Build relationships with local customers.
